This
village is situated in the Southern sector of the Punilla valley, next to the
San Roque lake and at
35 Km. to the west of the province's capital, to which it is linked by means of
a modern highway that joins both points within a few minutes. It
is the main tourist centre of the province, to the west of the Cordoba
capital. The San Roque lake that bathes its coasts, is
suitable for water sports, canoeing, swimming, sailing, and windsurf. A service
of catamarans takes you accross the lake.

trips, for, to the North you can visit the whole Punilla valley; to the West you
can enjoy the adventure of going through the Gigantes (Giants); to the
Southeast you can reach traslasierra through the path of Altas Cumbres
(High Peaks); and to the South you will find the zone of the great dykes, dams
and Calamuchita Valley. Another feature that ensures its
relevance for tourism is the important lodging infrastructure that this city
